Excellent news! I’ve finally gotten a new sewing machine to replace my sad, weary Singer. 

I’m a bit sad to see it go because it belonged to my grandmother, but I’ll be passing it on to a good friend after I give it a bit of a tune up. 

My new machine is an Elna 2800, pictured above. (the pink one!)

It’s a manual like my old Singer, but I don’t really feel I need more than that. 

I bought it at Spool of Thread on E. 15th, after drooling over all their fantastic fabric! I will have to go back some day when I have more money.
